Each year the Innocence Network hosts a conference that brings exonerees, innocence projects, and advocates together to share their experiences and knowledge to help promote  learning, relationship-building, collective action, and healing. 

I have had the good fortune of being able to attend the conference since 2022.

My journey through the world of wrongful convictions advocacy started with a grassroots student organization known as the Wrongful Conviction and Injustice Association of Carleton where a handful of students would host a public event each year that hosted wrongfully convicted individuals to share their story with the Carleton community.

Our podcast would not have been possible without them! These experts and exonerees were so generous with their time, and we cannot thank them enough for sharing with us.
